River Hawk Boat Shop out of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
We hand built about 8-10 boats per year. We build them light and strong. Each hull weighs under 30 lbs, a composite of carbon fiber and kevlar.
The River Hawk is a 23 foot long OC-1 that was designed and built for flatwater racing.
It's efficiency is unrivaled for long distance, comparable in speed to an elite surfski.
6 out of the last 8 men's solo winners in the MR340 has done it in a River Hawk (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2023). *2019 there was no solo class
The two fastest overall solo times in the MR340 were done in a River Hawk (2015, 2018).
The overall winning boat in the MR340 was a Solo River Hawk in 2022 and a 4-person "Quattro" prototype in 2023.
